Ongoing Projects
The studio is currently engaged in the development of a number of long-term research projects exploring cultural memory, identity, heritage, mythology, migration, and cultural diplomacy through wearable sculpture.
Each project begins with an extended period of research, drawing upon historical archives, cultural narratives, architecture, spiritual traditions, landscapes, and material experimentation. These investigations often evolve over several years before reaching their final form.
Current research includes The Medici Project, a multi-chapter body of work inspired by the cultural legacy of Florence and the Medici family, exploring themes of patronage, cartography, architecture, lineage, and the preservation of knowledge across generations.
This section offers occasional glimpses into the ongoing development of future works, including research materials, sketches, material experiments, studio processes, and construction techniques. These fragments represent moments within a much larger journey of artistic inquiry and creation.
While the final outcomes remain unknown, each project contributes to the broader vision of building an evolving archive of wearable sculptures dedicated to cultural understanding, storytelling, and dialogue between cultures and nations.
